Why should you invest in a heat kit?

Electric heat strips, or heat kits, serve as a supplemental or secondary heating solution, expertly installed within the air handler. Often likened to a "large blow dryer," the heat kit effectively disperses heated air directly into the ductwork. This heating solution is particularly beneficial in emergency situations when the heat pump is temporarily inoperative or during periods of extreme cold weather. Although heat kits are not as energy-efficient as heat pumps, they provide essential warmth when needed, typically for short durations.
